Key Art
The key art process begins with a brief. I worked with my team to create a document or deck with clear needs, guidelines, and directions, as well as an assortment of concepts and thought-starters, then presented the brief to our internal design team or selected external agencies.
From here, I oversaw the execution process, providing feedback and adjustments to sketches and comp builds, tagline writing and reviewing, and helped organize any required shoots, all within the designated budget. I would share and present selected art with the necessary point-of-view through internal leadership and on to executive producers and/or showrunners. Once art is selected, my team signed off on color and all forms of sizes and files, to preserve its original intention across all platforms and paid ads it would appear in.
This process requires a deep understanding of what we need to communicate to our audience, which talent to highlight, what will perform best on the relevant platforms, as well as the oversight of shoots, wardrobe selection, and working closely with our Photo team and photographers.
