Editorial Video
My work on Editorial Video content begins with determining the marketing goals – what will fans be looking for? Is there a fandom from IP we need to speak to? Do we need long-form video or more bite-sized social content? Do we need to offer playful moments of our cast to introduce them to an audience?
My past duties required crafting ideas to fit various platforms (such as in-product, social, YouTube) to reach the audience at multiple points throughout the campaign.
From there, I worked closely with our A/V team to determine necessary budget and conceptualize the ideas. In the past, I was responsible for scripting for content capture, as well as prepping interview questions and prompts, ensuring all of our partner needs (internal and global) were represented, and that it all laddered up to the larger strategy for the campaign.
I have experience in attending interview shoots with the cast and show creators/producers, serving as an on-the-ground resource for capture. After the shoot, I provided notes on edits, determined placement and exclusivity, and finally, saw it all through to release.
